Delete Your Cockato Account

    You have the right to request permanent deletion of your Cockato account and all associated data. This page explains how to submit a deletion request and what information will be removed or retained.

    How to Request Account Deletion

    You may request deletion of your account using either of the following methods.

    Method 1

    In-App Request

    If you have access to the Cockato app, you can initiate deletion directly from within the app.

    4. 4Select Delete Account

    Method 2

    Email Request

    Send an email to our support team from the email address registered to your account.

    Include in body

    Your full name and the email address associated with your account.

    What Data Will Be Deleted

    Upon successful verification of your request, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems.

    • Account profile information (name, email address, phone number)
    • Login credentials and authentication tokens
    • Business details and organisation settings
    • Loyalty program configurations and rules
    • Associated customer records and member profiles
    • Usage history and activity logs linked to your account

    What Data May Be Retained

    Certain data may be retained beyond the deletion of your account where required by law or for legitimate legal purposes.

    • Financial and transaction records required for legal compliance
    • Tax-related records as required under Australian taxation law
    • Records necessary to resolve disputes or enforce agreements

    Retention Period

    Legally required records may be retained for up to 7 years in accordance with Australian taxation and financial record-keeping obligations.

    Processing Timeline

    30-Day Processing Window

    All account deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification. You will receive a confirmation email to your registered address once your account and data have been permanently deleted.
